Important message regarding VM Med’s response to the current COVID-19 crisis

At VM Med, the health and safety of our patients, our staff and our community are a top priority.

That is why, in light of the current COVID-19 crisis, and in accordance with recommended safety guidelines, we are limiting the number of appointments at our clinic for an indefinite period.

Previously Scheduled Non-Urgent Appointments:

If you were scheduled for a screening appointment at our Breast Centre, or were scheduled for other non-urgent appointments, which were subsequently postponed due to the COVID-19 crisis, you will be contacted to advise you that your appointment will be moved to a later date.

Since COVID-19 recommendation guidelines may change in the coming days or weeks, our appointment policies may change. We will ensure to keep you updated on this page with any changes to our policies.

Patient screening for COVID-19 & social distancing within VM Med:

As a dedicated health-care provider, we are urging you to continue following COVID-19 government guidelines closely. If you are experiencing symptoms of the virus, please call 1-877-644-4545.

For precautionary measures, any patient being seen at our clinic will be required to complete a COVID-19 risk assessment questionnaire. Patients deemed at risk will not be able to be seen at the clinic and will be directed to call the number listed above. Patients are asked to come unaccompanied to the appointment, if possible, so that we can ensure proper social distancing within the clinic. The clinic will also be placing waiting room chairs 3 feet apart to ensure adequate social distancing, and requesting that all patients wear a mask during their visit which we will provide.
