Yes. VM Med is equipped with a wide, open bore MRI, designed to make patients who may feel claustrophobic more comfortable.

You need to advise the clinic if you have any metal on your person before scheduling an MRI. Depending on the nature and location of your implant, it may not be safe for you to have an MRI.  If you have a pacemaker, it is best to proceed with your MRI in a hospital setting.

Once your exam is complete, your results will be processed promptly and sent directly to your referring doctor within 48 hours.

As a private clinic, VM Med operates outside the public system to provide faster service. Our fees are paid out-of-pocket, ensuring you bypass the public waitlists. Certain tests or scans may be covered by private health insurance, but this is highly dependent on the patient’s personalized coverage.

In the public system, wait times can range from weeks to several months. At VM Med, we typically offer appointments within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the request to ensure you get the care and answers you need immediately.

A referral is required to book an appointment at our private Radiology Center. You can find the referral form here, or you can upload an existing referral when submitting an online form. We offer on-site imaging modalities, including CT Scan, wide-open MRI, X-Ray, ultrasounds, and more.
