What is the Thyroid Center?
VM-Med’s Thyroid Center offers patients excellent and timely care. When a patient notices a lump (or nodule) on their neck, it is important to have it assessed by a doctor immediately. Our specialists evaluate the nodule and propose a plan of action that prioritizes your health and comfort throughout the entire process.
The evaluation of a thyroid mass is made by reviewing your medical history and examining the neck. Other tests or procedures that your doctor may order, all of which are available at our Center and can be completed during your visit, include blood tests, ultrasound exams, CT scans, chest X-rays, thyroid scans, thyroid biopsy, thyroid imaging, thyroid surgery, thyroid cancer staging, thyroid oncology, thyroid cancer genetic testing.
